What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive, handheld device that can help patients avoid surgery or other invasive procedures while dramatically reducing the look of wrinkles, sagging, loose skin, stretch marks, and acne scarring, and improving the skin's tone and overall texture. Morpheus8 is a microneedling treatment developed to be more effective than other types of microneedling treatments because it uses radio frequency and heat. Radiofrequency (RF) energy treatments are safe and effective for tightening skin, reducing the size of your pores and the appearance of wrinkles, and inducing new collagen and elastin production to help your skin become firmer and more youthful-looking.

What Results Can I Expect?

The results from treating yourself to Morpheus8 treatments include skin tightening, softening of lines, and improvement of acne scarring with one to three treatments depending on baseline condition.

Morpheus8 can also help the appearance of:
● Mild sagging in the face and neck
● Uneven or rough skin texture
● Acne scarring
● Deep lines and wrinkles
● Sun damage
● Enlarged pores
● Stretch marks

Is There Downtime?

There is no downtime when it comes to movement and living your life, but there may be social downtime as you can expect swelling, redness, and possibly some bruising as it is causing a controlled injury to get your collagen and elastin to develop. This will last about 3 to 5 days. During this healing phase, you will need to use a gentle cleanser such as iS Clinical Cleansing Complex.  After three days, you can apply camouflage make-up by Glo Skincare.

On days 4 to 5 you will have slightly flakey skin. After 5 to 7 days, your skin is looking back to normal. You can go back to work the day after the procedure, but frequently clients who work, come in on Thursday or Friday and recover without make-up over the weekend. By Monday, you are good to go! Those who don’t work, often have Morpheus8 performed on Tuesday or Wednesday and recover during the week so they are ready to go on the weekend!  You want to be sure to stay out of the sun for at least 24 to 48 hours and you will need to wear physical sunscreen at all times to protect from any sun damage.

Beautox Bar offers iS Clinical Skincare, Sunscreen, and Glo make-up. If you have a Morpheus8 treatment scheduled or plan to schedule one soon, it’s a good idea to shop and purchase your after-care products now so you’re all set with your after-care products ahead of time.
