Before the procedure, we offer a vaginal rejuvenation consultation. We'll develop an individualized treatment plan for each customer during this particular session. We encourage everyone to ask as many questions as they need to feel fully informed and confident in their decision to proceed, postpone, or reconsider this procedure.
To ensure optimal results, we ask everyone to schedule this treatment for a week when they are not having their menstrual period. We also ask each customer to be sure she is not pregnant. The customer should discontinue Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen a few days before the session as well as any blood thinners. Women should refrain from sexual intercourse 24 hours beforehand. Pubic hair also needs to be trimmed or removed prior to the session.
This treatment takes place in our private and quiet treatment area with our InMode practitioner and can last anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes, depending on individual treatment needs. During the session, our specialty-trained nurse places the treatment wand on the vulva and inside the vagina to reach the areas being treated.
The wand uses uniform volumetric, or evenly distributed, heat to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This feels mildly warm but should not feel painful.
